Well September has almost come and gone. Life here in Bloomington is great, but Justin is crazy busy with school and Megan is just as busy with a Preschool and everything else. She is teaching twice a week with 4 kids, and trying to do all of the other fun that Bloomington has to offer. It has been such a hot, dry summer that we have been looking forward to fall but it has not wanted to come. It was in the mid 90's all this week, but finally today (the 25th) it was absolutely gorgeous out so we are hopeful that fall really is here. Megan has made several trips to some orchards in the area and dries the apples as fast as we (especially Eva) can eat them. Eva just adores Maggie, and they play really well together when Maggie gives her any attention. It doesn't happen very often, but it is a treat when they actually play together. Eva definitely has her own personality and is not afraid to tell you about it. It is so cute to watch her run around and try to do things by herself. We would not have suspected this before, but she is very independent and wants to do everything, include feed herself. Quite a crack-up.
We are still trying to figure out how to manage life as a PhD student while still trying to have some fun and keep the family life going along the way. Suggestions are welcome. Not to mention Justin just got called into the Elder's Quorum presidency and Megan just got called to be primary chorister.
We also had an incredible Stake Conference with Elder Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, that was absolutely inspiring!!! The opportunity to hear and learn from an Apostle was amazing. All in all life is good. We wouldn't want it any other way (well maybe BYU football could be a little better this year), and we are trying to enjoy life and not let it pass us by too quickly. These kids are growing up so quickly but are definitely a joy to have around.

Hi guys. We miss you tons! The girls are adorable. Megan, primary chorister is the best calling ever! I have tons of ideas if you need them.
Wow--sounds like you guys are very busy! I can't believe how different Eva's hair looks all of a sudden (well, since a year ago when I saw her last)! SO CUTE!! We miss you guys a lot and hope to see you sometime--hint, hint! : )
Cute new picture at the top! You guys are darling.
Thank you for another wonderful look into your lives. We love you all and wish on all the falling stars that we could see you more than we do and hug and kiss those girls. Love you Mom
Love getting caught up on your lives! Maureen abd I just got home last night from our great cabin adventure and return to Carlsbad. It was really fun having her on the drive, we haven't talked that much ever. Enjoyed my new Tucson, had to drive the first 1,000 miles w/o cruise control, that was like driving with one leg missing! Anyway, back to Carlsbad and real life! Thanks for your great blog, we love you all so much.
