Lovely Spring Weather

So you may have heard by now, but we had a very near miss with a tornado here in Bloomington this week.  There were actually two separate storm fronts that came through and in one evening we had 6 separate tornado warnings, and the final one that come by was in fact a tornado that touched down in Bloomington.  We had the girls asleep in our bathroom on our main floor and we were huddled together.  The storm came and went pretty quick and we thought that it hadn't been that big of a deal, but the next morning we went out and realized that a small tornado had touched down at the end of our apartment complex (maybe 1/2 mile from our house).  I guess we didn't overreact and it has done quite a bit of damage here, but luckily mostly just trees down and minor roof damage.  There were some mobile homes that were totaled but very few injuries.   And as much damage as this caused, we know that this was nothing compared to many areas around the country that have been hit this week.  We feel very lucky that it wasn't worse, but still it was pretty incredible.
