Christmas 2008

We had a great trip to Idaho and got to spend a couple of weeks with Megan's parents. It was a nice trip and we got to see some really great SNOW!!! It all started with waking up at 3:00 AM and getting to the airport in Indy by about 5:00 AM. The airport was a mad house and our flight left an hour late and had to make an extra circle around Minneapolis while they de-iced the runways. So we landed at the airport at 9:35 and our connecting flight to Salt Lake was supposed to leave at 9:25. Luckily there were a lot of people on our flight going to Salt Lake. The fun then started as we had to RUN across the airport carrying Maggie and a car seat and our carry-on bag across the whole airport. We were both sweating and very tired and barely made our connection. It was pretty miserable, but we were feeling pretty lucky to have made our connection. Needless to say we may be staying home next year.

We had a great time seeing family and mostly just hanging out. It was great spending time with both Megan and my family. We also got to see some our friends from our old ward. Overall we had a great time and were glad to see so many people. Sorry we didn't get to see everyone, but we are glad that you are all doing well.

It was so good to see you guys at Christmas!! Thanks for making the time!! Maggie is just the cutest little bugaboo!! I can't believe how big she has gotten (and moody- I can't believe she didn't like ME, of all people, right?!) I am so glad you are liking Indiana!! Miss you both!

Got to love traveling--'specially with kids and their seats--We had an experience like that in the Atlanta airport but missed the connection, and then got back to the Chicago airport with no luggage, and the carseat never showed at all. Fun.
