Maggie's Mistaken Identity

So in my last post I mentioned briefly that Maggie has a thing for names. At least she likes asking people their names. This week her thing with names has continued and even increased. She now has a couple imaginary friends, Milo and Peter (I'll give you two guesses who named them), that she sometimes plays with and she likes to carry them around in her hand. But perhaps the most interesting thing she did this week was that she was convinced that her name is Ana, my name is Mike, and Megan is Amy. We don't really know why she decided to switch families or personalities, but it has been an interesting couple of days when she tells people that my name is Mike. It's okay with me though, because I consider that a compliment. We love the Berry's and being compared to them. We shall see who she is this next week.

On a final note she has some funny nicknames for me and Megan. Frequently calls me and Megan, "Fadder and Mudder." Again, I don't know where she gets this but I like it. Today, as they came to pick me up from my class as I walked out of the building, she said to Meg, "Hey there's my old man!"

What a crack up. I guess I will be 30 in just a few weeks, so I guess I am old. Oh well.

We love her and she keeps us laughing.

Oh my heck she is a crack up!! I am really missing living down the street from you because I can't see her do all of her funny things. Give her hugs and kisses from her Aunt Sue!

That is hilarious. She is a hoot. And yes, you will officially be an old man once you turn 30. Pete's one year older than old man.

I loved all the pictures from Maggie's birthday. Too cute.

Random question...where did you guys get those flash cards for Maggie? I totally want to get some for Jonas so that he will know what a trapezoid is by the age of two!
