Presenting....Maggie the Gym-da-nastics Girl!

A friend of mine won a raffle for a free gymnastics camp, but was not able to use it because they were out of town.  She gave it to me thinking that Maggie might enjoy it.  What a great friend, huh?  Well, it is a bit of an understatement to say that Maggie enjoyed the gymnastics camp or as Maggie calls it "gym-da-nastics" camp.  She LOVED gymnastics camp and considers herself quite an expert now.  She attended camp for 5 days (2 hours each day) and learned things on the balance beam, floor mats, bars, and trampoline.  She whipped out a pretty nice head stand for me the other day and has been doing somersaults left and right.  She also had a lot a fun on Crazy Day (pic with big blue bow) and Rising Star Gymnastics Spirit Day, hence the glitter and purple face paint.  But, her proudest most special moment was when she got to preform for the parents at the end of camp and the leaders awarded each of the kids with a medal.  Maggie couldn't believe that she got a "real" medal.  ""It's not even paper!"

Why am I not surprised that your bouncing baby girl LOVED a gymnastics camp? I must have watched that gymnastics video a few months ago a dozen times, she really rocks! Thanks for the great pictures. Will you email me one of the girls together for my grandchildren shelf. The last one I have is Maggie with her nose in the pink tulips.
